Rise And New Orleans Saints: Top News, Videos And More

We can just about to say goodbye to Reggie Bush and Darren Sharper.

As the NFL and its players move toward a potential labor agreement it’s looking more and more like unrestricted free agency will be granted after four years, rather than the six it was in 2010.

While it appears TE David Thomas will get an opportunity to  gauge his value on the open market as an unrestricted free agent, we  hear he’s very much a part of the Saints’ plan and they intend to  re-sign him.

While it has been pretty well-known that he is not likely to come back to Cincinnati; the question now is whether he will have any team that will take him considering his latest injury.

Creative Artists Agency, the agency that represents both Saints quarterback Drew Brees and Colts quarterback Peyton Manning, is pushing hard for both players to be exempt from the application of the franchise tag, according to a report from Pro Football Talk.

Brees will be the fifth Saint featured on the list as well as the teams highest rated player. Jahri  Evans, Jonathan  Vilma, Marques  Colston and Carl  Nicks all made the list at various stages.
