The WhoDat Nation Bows It’s Head Tonight For Anthony Hargrove.

It’s another senseless killing. There’s not much else we can say, although I will try. There are far too many lives lost each year to violence. When will it end?

The details are skimpy, Anthony’s brother’s name is Terrence Maurice Hargrove. The police found him stabbed to death in a home in North Port very early Thursday morning.

Terrence was only 29, that’s too damn young to leave life behind. Terrance was robbed of the better part of his life, Anthony was robbed of a brother, a mother was robbed of her son… it goes on and on.

Anthony, the WhoDat Nation grieves with you. Have peace in your mind that Terrance has left his worldly troubles behind, and is in good hands. May he rest in eternal peace in the presence of his Heavenly brother Jesus, and his Heavenly Father.

Anthony, we love you. We wish there was a way to make this go away. You have our prayers; you have our deepest sympathy.

My sincerest sympathies on the Hargrove family’s loss.

Chris, I think that one of the more important things we do here at WhoDatDish involves communication. Our daily lives are so complex that often news or issues like this go unnoticed.

It amazed me that the same night the vast majority of the Saints players themselves were unaware of Anthony’s loss. For hours on Twitter most of them were oblivious to the tragedy.

It took sustained effort that night to get the news noticed, even in such a fast-paced environment as Twitter. It just proves the point that as writers we need to work harder and become more effective. Thanks for the comment.
