Terrelle Pryor had to leave Ohio State early due to several NCAA and University rules violations. Selling autographs, illegal use of vehicles and more were reported. Now with Drew Rosenhaus as his agent Pryor is eyeing a spot in the NFL.
Recently Rosenhaus graded him as a first round draft pick in the upcoming supplemental NFL draft in July. With that kind of value it could be hard for the Saints to by pass him up at as it seems likely he could go much later.
NFL analyst Albert Breer was a guest on SIRIUS Blitz with Adam Schein and Rich Gannon today. When questioned about Pryor’s NFL future Breer stated he saw him as more of a fifth round pick and named the Saints as a team where he could possibly fit.
It makes sense considering Pryor would not be called upon to start right away, but instead could sit and develop behind Drew Brees and Chase Daniel. Sean Payton could also find a way to get Pryor on the field in his offense, or make him a specials teams contributor his rookie year.
Tuesday Pryor apologized to the university of Ohio and more importantly to his head coach, Jim Tressell, who resigned from his position at the University two weeks ago, due to misleading comments about the activities of his star quarterback.
