 The New Orleans Saints added four new players to their offseason workout program at Tulane University on Wednesday, when four raffle winners joined the team for the day. The idea was another brainchild of quarterback Drew Brees, who thought the players had a unique opportunity to turn this unique offseason into a positive.

Despite the ongoing labor dispute with players, the NFL still plans on a 16-game schedule and a Super Bowl in Indianapolis although Commissioner Roger Goodell said the league would be prepared for anything.

 The NFL Coaches Association gave the players its support by filing an amicus brief with the U.S. 8th Circuit Court of Appeals on Wednesday.

Over the last few weeks the producers of HBO’s original series “Hard Knocks” have surely had more than their share of sleepless nights. The problem has been they cannot find an NFL team to follow as more teams have decided against an appearance than there are teams willing to take on the cameras.
