NFL Players or Teams; Who Is To Blame For The Lockout?

So, while the two sides are settling their differences, there is no real “good guy” or “bad guy.”

While the owners look like greedy billionaires to the common fan, take a second to realize that they are going to lose more if there is not a season in 2011 than they would lose out on this revenue split. So they want a season just as much as the players and the fans.

Most people want to side with the players because it seems like the right thing to do. I know I sided with them in the beginning. But as I read up on this lockout nonsense and I saw the broader picture, both sides seem to be behaving rather childishly.

Many speculations point to the players having no intentions of negotiating for a fair CBA and jumping right into decertification. While it is not known if it is true or not, one thing is for sure: We must be patient and wait this out, because there will be a 2011 season. Just have faith.
