Rumor has it that the NFL Players Association is putting into place a plan that would prevent each top college prospect from attending next month’s draft in New York, according to multiple league sources. The NFLPA has already contacted some of the top prospects who ordinarily would have received an invitation to attend the draft and informed them not to go.

We as fans are having a hard time understanding what is happening in the league, the money generated from all league sources (concessions, ticket sales, TV, etc) should be more than enough to satisfy all parties involved in the negotiations over a new CBA. Sitting on the outside looking in,  everyone wants to be optimistic but things don’t look that good right now.

I am a die hard Saints fan and I’m very happy to report that you haven’t heard much from the Saints organization concerning the CBA other than an occasional apology posted on facebook from Drew Brees who was heavily involved with the negotiations on a new CBA with the owners over the past month.
