Everyone seems to have an opinion on who will win and why, but surprisingly the Packers are the favorite to win their fourth Lombardi Trophy over the six-time winning Steelers.

Green Bay entered the play-offs as the sixth seeded wild card team after clawing their way into the post season while battling a rash of injuries on both sides of the ball.

The Pack, led by Aaron Rodgers, rolled through the Eagles, Falcons and Bears for the right to represent the NFC in Super Bowl forty-five.

The last sixth seeded team to win the Super Bowl was the 2007 New York Giants who defeated the undefeated New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLII.

Perhaps one of the greatest plays in Super Bowl history was witnessed in that game when Giants quarterback Eli Manning avoided a slew of defenders and lobbed the ball down the middle of the field to David Tyree.

Tyree, with two defenders draped on him, managed to make the one handed catch up against his helmet and never let the football touch the ground. That play setup Manning’s game winning touchdown pass to wide receiver Plaxico Burress.

Now we get to witness history once more as two of the all time most winningest franchises in the NFL face off in what is sure to be a game we will never forget.

Who will turn in the next great “David Tyree” moment, will it be a Rodgers scramble or Polamalu pick six? I guess we will see.
