Every year we start the season the same way, as a Saints fan we dig our heels in and get ready for the first game and every game afterwards because of the electricity and excitement it raises in every fan.

Well this is only the second meeting between the New Orleans Saints and the Cincinnati Bengals since 2006 (Sean Payton era), the first one was held in the New Orleans Superdome in week 11 of the 2006 season during the Saints miracle run for the championship.

The Saints hosted the Bengals in week 11 following a week 10 road loss to the Pittsburg Steelers putting their record at 6-3 on the season.

The Bengals started the game with a 41 yard touchdown pass to receiver Chad Ochocinco to put the Bengals up by 7.

The Saints followed up with their own score courtesy of quarterback Drew Brees who threw a 72 yard strike to receiver Joe Horn to tye the game although Cincinnati quickly added a 21 yard field goal to close out the first half scoring going to go up by three. … [visit site to read more]
