Like the title of the popular song by the 70-80′s band Journey, it seems that most if not all of the sports writers in this country have stopped believing.
It doesn’t surprise me that they have because no matter what the Saints have accomplished in past years they never got respect and maybe rightfully so since in all previous years the bottom always fell-out and they would finish the mediocre team that everyone said they were, but not this time.
It’s time the power rankings give us our due.
I don’t know what kind of neighborhoods that these so-called sports magazine writers or analyst grew-up in, but on my street it was probably a good idea to respect the guy that just kicked your butt.
I declare that the Saints should be at the top, #1, until they are knocked off legitimately.
Every sports magazine I pick-up these days has Dallas beating the Saints in the second round of the playoffs. I hope and pray we get the chance to stand in their way to a home-field super bowl in Dallas, we owe them for a Monday night loss (our first) last year.
We are a better team this year especially on defense. It wouldn’t surprise me if they outshined the the offense in more than a few games this year.
So i say to all those so-called experts……DON’T STOP BELIEVING!
With that said here’s my two cents on the top five:
- New Orleans
- Indianapolis
- Minnesota ( If Favre Plays)
- Baltimore
- New York Jets

[...] Mainstream media: New Orleans Saints, don’t stop beleiving. [...]
