Corner back Danny Gorrer was re-claimed off waivers from the St. Louis Rams today and will join the Saints just in time for their upcoming training camp July 29th. Gorrer was signed last season as undrafted rookier free agent out of Texas A&M by the Saints. Quarterback Brett Favre is a man stuck in limbo, he just cant make up his mind rather to retire from professional football or not. In fact Favre has flip flopped so many times on whether to retire or not that his former team the Green Bay Packers, where he had spent 16 seasons, cut him loose in a trade with the New York Jets prior to the start of the 2008 season. After eleven seasons in the NFL Joe “Hollywoood” Horn has retired as a member of the New Orleans Saints today after being signed to a one-day contract. Horn’s desire to retire as a Saint comes as no surprise given the fact he found his greatest success there becoming one of the most popular Saint players of all time.
